Welcome to the Studs & Duds section from RobinSports.com. Each week, we will examine the prime time players alongside the toilet bowl floaters for your enjoyment from the past weeks action. We will be giving out weekly awards to the best and worst performance all season. The awards are as follows: Let's start with the studs: ie. THE GOLDEN EGGS Golden Egg Award - Brian Westbrook, RB Phi
Honorable Mention:Donovan McNabb - 251 PaYd, 4 PaTD (4,8,45,57), 37 RuYd, FL - Hey media. BACK OFF! Looks like McNabb puts the media back into their place this week as rumors swirled about his ineffectiveness, McNabb posted 4 TD's while leading his team to a key divisional road win over the Skins. Keep plugging D-Mac. You nearly got the award this week just because. Shayne Graham - 7 FG (34,19,22,35,35,21,33) - We are getting tired of having to put kickers on the awards list. If teams could learn to score TD's, perhaps we wouldn't have so many 7 FG games this season... Jeremy Shockey - 129 ReYd, ReTD (8) - Welcome back Mr. Shockey! After we support Shockey all season, finally demote him for his play, he obviously gets upset and nearly earns himself a Golden Egg Award! Shockey was all over the place against the Cowboys. Superb effort. Ben Roethlisberger - 278 PaYd, 2 PaTD (12,2), PaInt, Pa2P, 49 RuYd, RuTD (30) - Out of the remaining votes, Roth earns this spot, not necessarily for his stats, but the fact that he took the Steelers on his back and won this game for them. What an effort. This kid has really played well this season and is one of the top signal callers in the NFL. Shout Out:Tony Romo - 247 PaYd, 4 PaTD (15,20,25,50), PaInt
Sea Pickle Award - Philip Rivers, QB SD
Honorable Mention:LenDale White - 12 RuYd, 5 ReYd - Titans RB LenDale White had just eight carries for 12 yards before leaving the game with a knee injury. Many pundits thought the loss of Stroud would limit the Jaguars rushing defense. Looks like they are eating crow today while White is cleaning up the cow patties he left on the field for fantasy owners. Anquan Boldin - 25 ReYd - Ok. So Boldin is still hurting. According to Ken Whisenhunt, "It really bothers him when he picks his leg up, and that's when you drive in and out of your routes." Then why was he playing and teasing us fantasy players! What a stinker. Plaxico Burress - 24 ReYd - We gave you the benefit of the doubt after your performance in London Plax. And this is how you reward us? By laying a steamer on the field on Sunday? Burress continues to be bothered by an ankle injury, and it may finally be slowing him down. I can tell you this. One more week like this and he earns himself a Sea Pickle. Jamal Lewis - 35 RuYd, 8 ReYd, FL - This is one of those times when I just have to say "We Told You So". Take a look at our predictions in the start/sit for this week if you have questions. We said "Lewis might not get even 37 yards this week." He got 35. Well done Jamal. Shout Out:Marion Barber - 34 RuYd |

Brian Westbrook - 100 RuYd, RuTD (10), 83 ReYd, 2 ReTD (4,57) - Westbrook has been a fantasy stud this whole season posting some of the top numbers in the fantasy world. Westbrook alone likely helped some fantasy clubs notch a victory this week. We used to call him the mini-LT. Perhaps we should start calling LT the mini-WB? No not really, but a heck of a game either way.
Philip Rivers - 104 PaYd, 2 PaInt, FL - - The time has come for Rivers to go to the waiver wire. For those of you holding out hope, ask yourself this: "WHY!" Rivers has been a major disappointment and has shown no signs of turning things around this season. At least he earned himself a glorious award this week with an honorary Sea Pickle.
