Wide Receivers

Yardage Lock
Marques Colston
(vs. Phi)
Drew Brees was my pick for the yardage lock, so it's only natural that his primary target is my yardage lock for wide receivers, no? Colston has been a monster in the second half and he's a lock to go over 100 yards.

Touchdown Lock
Larry Fitzgerald
(vs. Atl)
Fitzgerald has been one of the most productive wide receivers in fantasy this season and he has scored a TD in the last 5 games he's played in. The Falcons have really been hit hard from all angles this year. Fitz is going to punch them in the mouth one more time as he's a lock for a touchdown catch this week.

Rank Player Notes
1 Marques Colston
(vs. Phi)
I know Moss and Owens have had a better season overall, but Colston is on fire and he will be the best wide receiver in Week 16.
2 Reggie Wayne
(vs. Hou)
Manning and Wayne will excel at home against the divisional foe. I'm confident that Wayne will find pay dirt at least once.
3 Larry Fitzgerald
(vs. Atl)
Fitzgerald has been flying under the radar as one of the most consistent WRs in fantasy this year. He also has a tremendous matchup this weekend.
4 Randy Moss
(vs. Mia)
Randy is an absolute stud, but I'm wary of how he'll perform if they end up with another bad weather game in Boston, which is what the forecast is predicting.
5 Braylon Edwards
(at Cin)
The weather isn't supposed to be great in Cincinnati, but Edwards will be riding high on his first Pro Bowl selection. Anderson will also lean on him heavily as the Browns try to secure a playoff birth.
6 Greg Jennings
(at Chi)
I've read all about the terrible weather ahead for Chicago on Sunday, but bad weather can really benefit wide receivers when their opponents have bad footing. Plus, Jennings seems to find the end zone every week and he has to be fuming about his Pro Bowl snub.
7 Andre Johnson
(at Ind)
Johnson is one of the most productive wideouts in the NFL and he should perform well against a Colts team that is banged up and will likely be trying to rest up for the playoffs.
8 TJ Houshmandzadeh
(vs. Cle)
The weather report looks dicey on Sunday, but Housh should still rack up solid fantasy points against one of the worst pass defenses.
9 Terrell Owens
(at Car)
This is a huge bounce-back game for the Cowboys. They've struggled over the last couple weeks and the absence of TO in the offense is one of the main problems. I expect Romo to respond well following the Jessica Simpson criticism and I think he'll connect with TO in a big win over the Panthers
10 Joey Galloway
(at SF)
What happened last week? One catch for 7 yards?!? He's carried you this far, so stick with him in Week 16 as he has a great matchup against the #21 pass D.
11 Chad Johnson
(vs. Cle)
Ocho Cinco has been a disappointment this year, but he always plays well against the Browns. Start him as long as the weather report looks half decent.
12 Hines Ward
(at StL)
Ward has a good matchup this week against the Rams on turf and he should play well in a game that has major playoff implications.
13 Deion Branch
(vs. Bal)
The Ravens look like they've given up on the season and Branch looks like he's picking up steam as the year comes to a finish.
14 Tory Holt
(vs. Pit)
I know Holt has a tough matchup this week, but Bulger is back and Holt should be no worse than a No. 2 fantasy WR.
15 Anquan Boldin
(vs. Atl)
Boldin played pretty well in his return from a toe injury. Look for him to perform well against Falcons.
16 Santonio Holmes
(at StL)
Holmes is still trying to find his groove since returning from his ankle injury and he has a pretty nice Week 16 matchup if you want to go with him.
17 Bobby Engram
(vs. Bal)
Engram has been a pleasant surprise this fantasy season and he has another good matchup this week againt the Ravens. I like him as a low-end No. 2 WR or an excellent No. 3 WR.
18 Anthony Gonzalez
(vs. Hou)
The chemistry between Gonzo and Peyton grows stronger every game and Gonzalez should continue to produce in Week 16.
19 Plaxico Burress
(at Buf)
He's been hurt all year, Eli Manning is playing terribly, and the weather in Buffalo is going to be windy and rainy...he's not a great option, but you probably don't have the option of benching him.
20 Brandon Marshall
(at SD)
Marshall has a tough matchup against a surging Chargers pass defense, but he's still been consistent all year and is a solid No. 2 WR.
21 Wes Welker
(vs. Mia)
Welker should get back into the action this week against the Dolphins, but the weather in Foxboro has been putting a damper on the Pats pass attack recently.
22 Calvin Johnson
(vs. KC)
The Lions are dropping through the standings like a rock, but CJ is still the No. 1 WR in Detroit. Fantasy-wise, he's a low-end No. 2 WR or a nice No. 3 option.
23 Donald Driver
(at Chi)
The weather predicted for Chicago this weekend scares me, but if there's one QB that can play in bad weather it's Brett Favre.
24 Steve Smith
(vs. Dal)
Fantasy Bust of the Year candidate Steve Smith has a decent matchup this week, but lets face it...the guy hasn't had a touchdown or 100 yards since Week 6.
25 Roydell Williams
(vs. NYJ)
Williams has 3 touchdowns in his last 3 games and looks like a nice play as a No. 3 fantasy WR this week in a must-win game for the Titans.
26 Dwayne Bowe
(at Det)
Brodie Croyle has shown signs of life at QB and Bowe will have a great matchup this week against the 31st ranked pass defense.
27 Reggie Williams
(vs. Oak)
The Raiders have a tough pass defense, but there's no denying his ability to find the end zone. He's a solid No. 3 fantasy WR.
28 Kevin Curtis
(at NO)
Curtis has been quiet the last 2 games, but he has a great matchup this week and makes for a nice option as a No. 3 WR.
29 Lee Evans
(vs. NYG)
Evans is the go-to guy in Buffalo, but the weather report for the game looks awful for throwing the ball...high winds and rain.
30 David Patten
(vs. Phi)
He came up big for fantasy owners in Week 15 and he isn't a bad play as a No. 3 WR with a QB as hot as Brees.
31 Reggie Brown
(at NO)
Much like Curtis, Brown has an excellent matchup and should receive some consideration this week as a low-end fantasy starter.
32 Jerricho Cotchery
(at Ten)
Cotchery has re-emerged in the Jets passing game over the last two weeks and he looks like a decent No. 3 option against the Titans.
33 Chris Chambers
(vs. Den)
Chambers has been active in the Chargers passing game over the past 2 weeks and is still the No. 1 WR in their offense, which actually amounts to No. 2 behind Antonio Gates.
34 Patrick Crayton
(at Car)
The Panthers have an above average pass defense, but Tony Romo will be looking to rebound from a terrible Week 15 performance and Crayton could benefit.
35 Jerry Porter
(at Jac)
While Porter struggled last week, that had to be expected when you play the No. 1 pass defense. He should be a low-end No. 3 fantasy WR against the 24th ranked pass defense of the Jags.
36 Roddy White
(at Ari)
Was it simply a bump in the road against a tough Tampa Bay defense or is White now permanently distracted by the Vick imprisonment and the $5K fine he received from the NFL. Either way, White is a risky play in Week 16.
37+ Everyone Else There are probably a few other possibilities at wideout and I'll try to add them by Sunday. If you're deciding on somebody not on this list, take a look at who they're playing and how the player has faired recently. Email me if you still can't decide.
