41 Turner, Michael RB SD 80 502 6.3 2 3 47 15.7 0 0 61
Owners of LT, take note. Get Michael Turner... Turner is the epitamy of importance to LT owners. Not only does he provide insurance for your number one pick, but in the 7th-8th rounds, provides a great keeper potential as he will be a free agent next season. Turner was a deal away from joining Buffalo or Tennessee this off season and will have plenty of suitors next year. Usually a backup isn't worth all that much, but Turner is.
42 Morency, Vernand RB GB 96 434 4.5 2 17 118 6.9 0 1 58
Morency will be afforded the opportunity to be the man in Green Bay. Scouts are claiming that he does not have the size to be a productive every down back, citing that his skills are better served as a third down back and/or change of pace runner. With the only other option in Green Bay being rookie Brandon Jackson, Morency will surely see around 250 carries this season. Look for Morency to be a low-end #3 back, capable of providing a 7-800 yard season for the Packers.
43 Henry, Chris, RB TEN                   0
The only reason we even put Henry on this board is the fact that the Titans running back situation is appalling for an NFL club. Despite the fact that White has shown no effort in training camps and continues to show up looking like a defensive tackle, the Titans saw an opportunity to pounce on an unproven running back who has great physical attributes. Great management Titans... Henry may be the starter, but don't expect him to be anymore than a bye week replacement regardless.
44 Washington, Leon RB NYJ 162 700 4.3 4 29 295 10.2 0 1 115
Despite the small stature (5'8" 220 lbs), Washington proved to be a valuable asset for the Jets coming out of the backfield. Were it not for the acquisition of Jones in the off season, Washington would have been the sure-fire starter for the Mean Green. As it is, look for Washington to get some 3rd down opportunities, but his totals will only approach 4-500 yards this season.
45 Bell, Mike RB DEN 157 677 4.3 8 20 158 7.9 0 0 124
Bell is really more of an after thought now with the arrival of Travis Henry in Denver. More of a fullback than a halfback, Bell will see some carries this year and will serve a team as quality insurace for Henry and a possible bye week replacement if the matchup is right.
46 Rhodes, Dominic RB OAK 200 709 3.5 5 38 275 7.2 0 3 109
Rhodes will open the season on a four game suspension, which is essentially five as the Raiders have a bye in week 5. He was expected to challenge Jordan for the lions-share of the carries, but missing 1/3 of the season can have a negative effect on that possibility to say the least. If you have a pick late in your draft, he is worth the risk. But don't expect a lot out of him at this point.
47 Jones, Kevin RB DET 181 689 3.8 6 61 520 8.5 2 5 155
Jones was off to a stellar season last year before suffering a season ending Lisfranc fracture of the foot. The injury itself is cause for concern because it has ended the careers of backs before Jones. Word out of Detroit is that Jones has done well with rehab, however the risk is too high to warrant more than a late round flier.
48 Thomas, Anthony RB BUF 107 378 3.5 2 22 139 6.3 0 1 55
Thomas is more of an afterthought than a productive fantasy back at this point, however with Lynch being a rookie, it is likely that Thomas will see some of the carries. He will be a possible bye week replacement in deep leagues but it is unlikely that he will be drafted at this point.
49 Bush, Michael, RB OAK                   0
Another man's misfortune is another's gain. I am sure someone important said that somewhere. With the suspension of Rhodes, a once crowded backfield opens up a bit as Bush, once considered a 1st round pick, will likely see some playing time in place of Fargas to spell Jordan. Bush is a sure fire keeper this year as Jordan and Rhodes are not the answer for the Raiders backfield.
50 Irons, Kenny, RB CIN                   0
The Bengals 2nd round pick out of Auburn has the potential to be a solid back in this league. He is strong and quick and resembles a younger Rudi Johnson. Johnson has quite a few carries under his belt and if an injury befalls him, Irons is a must have hamstring for the Cincy backfield.
