Peyton embodies the mold of a straight up fantasy stud. He brings a laser arm, great mind, and plenty of experience to a team loaded with offensive talent. After passing for 32 TD's and almost 5000 yards last season, Peyton finally got his ring. A much deserved one at that. If you have the opportunity to get an amazing gunslinger like Manning, feel lucky. He will be off the board early as he is likely the only quarterback worthy of a first round pick.

Palmer returned last season from the bomb that exploded inside his knee to have a terrific season. Typically, it takes 2 years for a player to return to complete form following such a devastating injury. If last season was Palmer at 70%, imagine what is in store for opposing defenses this season... Take him with confidence in the middle to late 2nd round.

Brady moves up the charts this season, but not because he went above and beyond in the off-season. Brady earns this mark due to the Patriots organization getting Brady some serious help. Instead of tossing to the Florida Gators (Chad Jackson, Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffeny) and Troy Brown, Brady will now have Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker, and whichever of the Florida boys decides to show up. Throw in Kelley Washington from Cincy and you might just see the Patriots in some 6 WR sets. Yes, it's possible. Ask Steve Spurrier.

Bulger is a model of consistency for the fantasy player. Were it not for an injury in '05, Bulger would have 4 straight seasons of 3800+ yards and 20+ TD's. The injury problem could be a cause for concern as Bulger tends to get nicked up a bit during the season and allows nagging injuries to slow his play. Bulger also signed a nice contract extension this preseason, so perhaps some of his performance drive will be reduced. The additions of Bennett and McMichael will give him two new weapons however so look for Bulger to bring in some nice numbers this season despite the 'intangible' effects.

Brees was the breakout player of the year last season. Prior to last season, Brees had not thrown for more than 3600 yards in a season. The shoulder injury remains a cause for concern however. Second, the fact that Marques Colston is the #1 WR in the Big Easy may signal a drop in production for the high-octane offense. With the departure of Joe Horn to Atlanta, Colston will see the best coverages each and every week. It will be up to Henderson and Meachem to get open for Brees to match his numbers from last season. He will be a good QB, just not a great one like last season.

D-Mac was on pace to be the MVP of the league last season before a season ending knee injury. He returns this season for yet another try at remaining healthy. A bonus for McNabb was the emergence of Brian Westbrook during his absence. Westbrook revealed that he is one of the top backs in the NFL without D-Mac and that will only serve to aid McNabb in his comeback season. It typically takes 2 years for a player to return to full speed following an injury like this, so Donovan comes in just below the first tier QB's.

Hasselbeck suffered through one of his worst seasons as a pro last year. Coincidentally, so did his partner in crime, Shaun Alexander… It is no secret that the passing game requires a good running game to be successful, but Hasselbeck failed to reward fantasy owners with their high investments. While he drops a tad down the leader board, he will certainly remain in the starting QB area as the Hawks will look to return to the form that had them as constant NFC West Champions.

Rivers came running out of the gates after replacing incumbent starter, Drew Brees. Rivers actually exceeded expectations last season by throwing for over 3300 yards with 22 TD's and only 9 INT's. Expect more of the same as the young slinger will continue to improve this season. Despite the departure of Marty and Cam, Rivers still has the man, in LT, and one of the best offensive lines in all of football. Rivers is up there with the likes of McNabb, Hasselbeck, and Brees until further notice as a #1 QB who you may be able to snag in the 4-5 round range.

Oh my!?! Jon Kitna, #9. You better believe it. The old vet is coming off a season where he threw for 4200 yards. That’s right, that is more than Palmer, Brady, McNabb, and Hasselbeck. Now you throw into the mix a player like Calvin Johnson to replace the washed out Mike Williams? We expect big things for Jonnie this season as he could be your late round ticket to a fantasy title! Projected Stats: 4000 yards, 25 TD's, 17 INT.

Manning Jr takes a lot of ill-advised heat from reporters and fans alike. We aren't here to bash him. In fact, we think he has done a pretty bang up job in the NFL in his first 3 seasons. Newsflash to Giant Fans: STOP THINKING HE IS PEYTON MANNING B/C HE ISN'T! His completion percentage rose from 52 to 57 last season and look for that trend to continue into the 60's. If the younger Manning can show some consistency for fantasy owners, which we highly believe he will, he will round out the top 10 starting QB's for this season. We project he will be available in the 4-5 rounds of your draft.
