Leinart begins the season as our top rated #2 QB. Despite the fact that Wisenhunt will take the Cardinals offense into a run-first set-up, Leinart simply has too many weapons to be ignored. Entering his third season, he will boast one of the best WR tandems in the NFL in Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. Behind him is the ever steady Edgerrin James to provide blocking and an outlet as well. This will be Leinart's year as we predict the USC product to throw for over 3300 yards and 20 TD's as he begins to live up to expectations.

Roethlisberger returns to the Steelers without the crutch known as Bill Cowher. With Cowher gone, it will be up to Big Ben to perform instead of chunk short passes to the other team and get blown up chasing down defenders returning his passes. We thing he will; and will turn some heads doing it. Ben is likely buried on your fantasy QB list and this is great news because it is the same with your fantasy opponents. But do not hesistate to pick up Big Ben as he is destined for a fantastic season this year. Ward is looking to bounce back, Holmes has a year under his belt, and Miller and Parker are studs. Just because he struggled a bit last season shouldn't shy you away from what could be a middle #1 QB by mid-season.

Young was a dynamic force on the field after taking over for Kerry Collins last season as a rookie, earning himself the ROY award from the NFL. He debuts at #13 on our rankings because of the brown-out in talent that the Titans experienced this off-season. Gone are Drew Bennett and Travis Henry. Replacing them are a six-tuplet of players that are relatively unknown and have yet to prove themselves in an NFL system. There will be a lot of pressure on the young QB to perform up to last seasons' expectations. The talent just isn't there for Young to provide you with a consistent option as a #1 QB. Look for Young in the 7-8th rounds in hopes of nailing down a solid keeper for the future.

Romo came running onto the scene last season following the breakdown of Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe looked like he was in mud last season prior to Romo getting his shot and he never looked back. While he had a spectacular season out of the gates, Romo is receiving a bit more hype than we prefer to give. Several other fantasy pundits have Romo as the 6-7 ranked QB. Come on, guys. You have to earn that right. A four week run averaging 18 fantasy points before other teams have seen any video on you, does not make a fantasy stud. If you are reading, ask yourself how Romo did after teams got a chance to gameplan for him. (Here: I'll tell you. The 5 initial weeks, he averaged 18 fantasy points, the 5 last weeks (playoffs for fantasy) he averaged a meager 13.1).

Cutler heads into the 2007 season as a high end #2 Fantasy QB, worthy a pick between Rounds 7 and 10. Cutler is a player who flashed his immense potential after taking over the starting gig with 5 games remaining last season. A smart player, Cutler will adjust to the NFL more quickly than most as he reminds of us a more physically talented Joe Montana. Look for Cutler to still have some growing pains, but the sky is the limit for this prime time prospect out of Vanderbilt.

Losman showed some life towards the end of last season offering hope to Bills fans around the world that their patience may finally pay off. Losman ended last season with a career best 84.9 QB rating. The offensive line is improved however the running back situation, with Rookie Marshawn Lynch, will need to stabilize and someone must emerge opposite Lee Evans at the WR spot for Losman to be anything more than a mid to low #2 fantasy QB.

No matter what, as long as Brett Favre is playing football, he will be at least a #2 QB out of respect alone. While Favre continues to age, his skills have not diminished so greatly that he cannot have a productive season. Last year alone, he threw for almost 4000 yards, which would place him in the upper tier of QB's still to this day. The turnovers are what continue to plague the hall-of-famer. This season, Coach McCarthy will continue to reel the gambler in and if he is successful, Favre moves up to a high end #2 QB as he will break Dan Marino's career records in this, likely, his final season.

Alex Smith enters his 3rd season in SF and looks like he may be a candidate for a breakout season. Following a horrendous rookie campaign, Smith threw for 2900 yards and 16 TD's last season. Hardly eye-popping, but if you consider the fact that the 49ers talent level was mediocre at best, it's not too shabby. Smith will have Gore returning in the backfield and a host of new WR talent to play with including Darryl Jackson, Vernon Davis, and Ashley Lelie. Look for Smith to surprise some people this season as he will be a decent #2 QB, with the ability to creep up to a low-end #1, worthy of a selection in the later rounds of your draft.

Now that Green has been named the starter in Miami, he earns a spot in the top 20. The Dolphins have been starving for a real QB since the departure of Dan Marino. While the elder Green is by no means in the same realm as Danny, he will be able to provide the Dolphins with a game-manager, allowing their defense to win some ballgames for them. Green will look to be efficient mostly and will likely have 1 or 2, 300 yard games in him this season. Hardly a #2, but a dependable #3 he will be.

Campbell will enjoy his 2nd full season at the helm of a football team with the same O-coordinator. Since his days at Auburn, Campbell has had to endure system after system as the coaching carousel around him never seemed to cease. This season, he enters as the undisputed #1 in Washington and has some tools around him in Moss, Portis, Betts, Cooley, and Randle-El. Campbell should provide much more consistency this season and greater output to go along with that over the 10 TD's from last season. Look for Campbell to be a solid #3 QB with the potential to move into a middle-2 by mid-season.
