Welcome to RobinSports.com

RobinSports is here to serve the needs of the fantasy fanatic. For far too long, fantasy players have had to endure long searches across several different sites to get an 'idea' of who they should start in their key matchups for the upcoming games....

We are here to end that search! Robin Sports will do what others have failed in that we will not predict the outcome of a player's performance, well, we will, but using our unique database, YOU will be the voice of the experts as we introduce the fantasy rating system to help the avid fantasy player make their final lineup decisions and lead them to victory!

If you must know what the "experts" at CBS Sportsline, Sportsreporters, Yahoo Fantasy, or Rotoworld are saying, you can check them out here.

To add some spice to the competition, we will keep track of how these so-called "experts" perform as well as keep track of how you perform as the REAL expert!!

As the season progresses, you will have an opportunity to win great prizes and the right to call yourself the "REAL GURU" during the entire next season as other players will attempt to take your throne! So if you feel that you are up to the challenge, and are tired of listening to one guy who thinks he knows more than you, why not check out RobinSports.com feature You Be the Expert?

History:

The Robin was developed in 1999 by a group of guys at the University of Tennessee. As they watched football games on Saturdays while enjoying cold beverages, an epiphany occurred. Why not start a league where we challenge each others' knowledge of the great game of football? So it began...

Starting as a 12 team league in 1999, a schedule was created, team names given, $50 paid for dues, and it was one. Following that inaugural season, many people began to learn of the league and wanted in. By 2000, the league had grown to 20 teams. Improvements continued to be made and in 2001, the league was at a maximum level of 32 teams.

The spice of the Robin was created by all it's members as teams would submit articles each week, berating their friends and opponents as they continued to test their skills against each other in search of the season's winnings. As the legend grew, more and more teams wanted to play. Due to the setup, 32 was the maximum, so some had to be turned away. The diversity of the league grew, as did the competition, and just last season, the Robin Bowl had it's first female led team playing for the title!

Upon realizing that the fun should be shared by all, RobinSports.com was born!
